My outfits from Friday and Sunday

Dress - Thrift store (Gift from Mom :OD) - "Madison Leigh" - I changed it from halter style to just normal straps, and wear it with a white shirt under - White Stag maybe? :-)

(Please excuse my messy hair! ;-)). This was my outfit for today - Pink dress I made, Pink jacket was a thrift store item my younger sister gave me - Leslie Kaye I think? :-)

Today's Outfit :-)

This was my outfit of today (with the same black sweater from yesterday :-)).
Same things from yesterday, except for the shirt (which I can't see the tag, so I'm not sure where it's from! :-( I'm thinking somewhere like L.L. Bean. My Grandma gave it to me! <3).>

My Skirt! (Please excuse the messy hair ;-)).

Skirt - homemade. Sweater - Unknown (the tag is gone ;-)). Blouse - Basic Editions (short sleeves, worn with a white stag long sleeve white shirt under). Nylons - East5th "Oatmeal". Shoes - Faded Glory. Hair - (My usual style) Sides pulled back. :-)
It's more of an '80's style I think, but I still like it. :-)
(P.S. Look how much the snow has melted since last time! ;-)).

New Shoes!

I just love the polka dots!! *Bounces* :OD And since they are black and white they will match many more things rather then my blue and pink ones (which are very old by now. ;-)).
Shoes - Faded Glory (Walmart ;-)). Nylons - East5th "Oatmeal" Knee-highs (a bit lighter then the full oatmeal nylons). Jean Skirt ;-) - White Stag (A Thrift item ;-)).

I am very sorry to say that it will be at least until sometime next week before I get pictures of my new skirt up. :-( I somehow got two grease spots on it before I had even gotten to wear it. :-( *Sniffles* It must have been from my hand-cream or something! But I am working on getting it out, and shall post pictures soon I hope! <3

My current project...

I am currently working on a knee-length blue skirt with POCKETS!! :OD So far it has been a fairly easy pattern, so I hopefully will be done soon and have pictures to show you!! <3

One of my favorite hair-styles!

This is one of my favorite hair-styles to do on myself! Not only is it very 40's, it also *Blush* looks nicer then some of my other ones, and it is so quick and easy!! I usually leave the back down instead of putting it up in a bun though. :-) Enjoy!! (Also, please check out the girl's blog who does the videos!
